How many people do you think see FSBO publications as compared to REALTOR.com? If you are serious about selling wouldn't you want to price the property correctly and have as many people as possible able to look at it? Especially, now that it is shifting into a buyer's market with more properties to choose from. The days of putting a FSBO sign in your yard and having your home sold in 24 hours are gone. Did you know that according to an NAR 2005 survey houses sold by agents yielded 30% ($16,800.00) more money on average than FSBOs'.
And where did that extra money go? Hmmm, commissions perhaps?
